Kay was so so so welcoming and just made us all feel wonderful when we left . Rod and Kay I can't thank u enough 4 the memories/experience my children r going 2 b left with this summer due 2 ur selfless hard work and commitment u put in2 our communities/families. Uv made a huge difference 2 me as a parent as my kids leave in the morning and come home full of smiles and excitement. A huge thanku 2 all the volunteers who make it happen. Its your passion, your ongoing labour of love and nobody realises the work, the effort, time, preparation and planning of every last detail that goes on behind the scenes. I know you are committed 24/7 and if anyone needed anything inbetween times, you are there to help, no matter what your own personal plans were. I cant give you the due praise and commendations deserved here but I would urge others to try a session with you and make their own minds up from there. You are now offering so much more to your students, Im sure they wont regret it. Best of continued success. See you soon. xxxx💖recommendsHaylz Paton Maber31/07/2021My girls recently joined rokzkool for the summer after much refusal to even try it previously but this summer they agreed to go along… and along they did go. Well…! My oldest daughter hasn’t smiled this much in a long time! She’s struggled with various life issues that broke her down so badly. Thanks to rokzkool, she managed to smile again. She made new friendships and gained confidence all while having fun with the games and activities on offer. And to add to the miracles and magic performed by rokzkool, Kay made a Bolognese for their lunches one day which my daughter not only tried but enjoyed! For 15 years my girls lived off plain cooked pasta and dry cereals, refusing to look at never mind try any other food stuffs. My youngest daughter, is usually very anti social and finds friendships difficult to make and maintain. She managed to make some lovely new friends over the last few weeks, too. She’s not always the most engaging but she engaged willingly and enjoyed telling me all about her day when she came home. Both my girls had an amazing time with rokzkool and hope to continue their time with them! It’s been an incredible experience for both of them and things that I never thought were possible have happened. I absolutely dote on rokzkool because my son loves it and takes it seriously with any projects they have going on, it is a generous and amazingly run club and I couldn't thank it any more for being there for the kids around here!recommendsCatherine Mackenzie29/02/2020My Grandson has been attending Rokzkool since last summer at Merkinch on Saturday mornings. He always looks forward to going along on a Saturday & meeting friends & making new ones. I notice a growing maturity in him & developing caring thoughtfulness. My thanks goes out to Kay & Rod who run this well run group
